In other words, if you want a burger in 5 minutes, the best place to go is In-N-Out. And that is why it rocks so much, because it makes McDonalds and Burger King taste like garbage. Yes, Fuddruckers, some bars and restaurants make better burgers, but those aren't $2-3 burgers, they aren't in the same class at all.

Apr 11, 2024 · Absolutely. When my friend from SoCal visited me, back before Shake Shack expanded to the west coast, she refused to try my shack burger, citing she was too full. Managed to convince her to try a bite, and she ended up downing the whole thing. In n out is good, but largely because of the price, and I say this as someone who grew up eating In n Out.

For the price, they're delicious. You can get a double cheeseburger at McDonalds for $3.69. You can get a double double at In-N-Out for $4.90. I'd say the double double at In-N-Out is MUCH better than a double cheeseburger at McD's and worth the extra dollar. You can compare it to other burgers, but you should really just enjoy it for what it is.

Instead, think of In-N-Out as a throwback to the original take-out burger restaurants. It has a limited menu similar McDonald's circa 1954. But there is a reason that so many famous chefs, like Gordon Ramsay, Thomas Keller, Julia Child, Anthony Bourdain, Mario Batali and others have praised In-N-Out.

Oct 9, 2023 · In-n-out is literally burger, fries, shake. You can choose to add onions, that’s about it. They do one thing, and they do it pretty well. The fries are completely different, crinkle cut vs hand cut crispy. The buns are different, and in-n-out uses a special sauce on burger vs. butter burger. The shakes aren’t even close either.

Nov 24, 2020 · I have a Whataburger, Jack in the Box, and In n Out all within 5 minutes. I may have had all 3 in the same day. The best combination is In n Out burger with Whataburger Fries and shake. Jack is not in the conversation. I'd skip them all in favor of 5 guys

Jan 10, 2023 · Emphasis on cheap fast food, which is what both Cookout and In-N-Out are. Burgers at places like Wendy's or McD's are 5-7 bucks these days and not as good as either, really. The cookout's largest sized burger, the 'huge', is $4 last I checked, the regular being $3.
